Meeting with British Ambassador held in AZRPOMO

Assistance will be provided to identify potential areas of cooperation with British companies in our territories liberated from occupation.

The Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld.

Head of AZPROMO, Yusif Abdullayev, discussed the activities of the agency, mechanisms of export promotion, the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand, and logistics support. In addition to trade and investment, the significant potential for collaborative endeavors in the fields of education, cybersecurity, agriculture, transport, and logistics was noted. The role of the British Chamber of Commerce in the country was also emphasized in terms of implementing the aforementioned economic potential.

Ambassador Fergus Auld noted the strong political and economic relations between the two countries, which are supported by bilateral cooperation and mutually beneficial activities in many fields. He also highlighted that British companies are involved in projects in our territories liberated from occupation. The Ambassador emphasized the readiness to support the involvement of more companies in the mentioned areas and increase of non-oil investment portfolio of Great Britain in Azerbaijan. In this sphere, assistance will be provided to identify potential areas of cooperation with British companies in our territories liberated from occupation.
