A discussion was held on the exchange of information with Jordan to increase mutual trade in the non-oil sector and explore investment opportunities.

Within the framework of the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (ICCIA), the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO hosted a meeting with the delegation of Jordan.

Head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev informed the participants of the meeting about the Agency's activities, the favorable business and investment environment created in Azerbaijan, and non-oil exports. He noted that the organization of meetings between business circles of Azerbaijan and Jordan can contribute to the expansion of ties between entrepreneurs, and the promotion of trade relations, and investments.

Bahjat Hamdan, a member of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Second Vice President of the Amman Chamber of Commerce talked about the activities of the organizations he represented. It was noted that there are broad prospects for cooperation between Jordan, which has rich phosphate resources, and Azerbaijani entrepreneurs producing competitive products in the field of chemical industry.
